|Recommended: NoMatthew is one of the maintenance workers at East 12 Lofts in Portland. He is amazing in every way. We requested our closet door be fixed as we could not get it back on the track. He came the next morning and fixed it in 2 minutes He responds to your requests in record time with a smile on his face and a can do attitude. He is friendly and goes above and beyond to meet any and all of your requests. We love the entire maintenance crew here at East 12 Lofts and appreciate their hard work.

|Recommended: NoI scheduled an onsite tour of one of the studio's available at East 12 Lofts. I was SO excited to see it and honestly couldn't wait to go. I ran into bad traffic and was late 10 minutes. As a courtesy, I called ahead, 20 minutes before my meeting and alerted the Leasing agent that I'd be 15 minutes late but would definitely be there. Of course, I wasn't able to talk to the leasing agent directly because I had to call the call center you have set up at the general number. I got there by the time I promised but there was no one there. Nor was there a listed number extension for a Leasing Agent in the building's call box. So I called the 503 again to let them know I was on premise and awaiting the leasing agent. They told me to wait and someone would show up soon. I waited another 15 minutes...and still no one showed up, so I called again and was told the same thing. And so I waited another 10 minutes at which point I had to leave. But before leaving, I called a 3rd time. Aweful.

|Recommended: YesNew Tenant impression — Overall, would recommend living here but don’t feel I’ve been here long enough to give a full review. As far as first impressions go, building is clean and maintained, not much noise from other tenants, and enjoy the layout of my apartment.

|Recommended: YesGood but could be better — Only thing I have to say about this place negatively was my move in. Moved into a apartment that wasn’t fully cleaned and had a broken window. Other than that, I do really like this place

|Recommended: YesAdequate space, nice layout, great neighborhood. — My main complaint is that I can hear my neighbours all the time and that my window, which I had submitted two separate work orders for back in August is still not properly working. At this point, the screen is held on with duct tape and closing the window just takes a couple of extra steps.
Aside from this, the building is in a great part of town, there is pretty good street parking, the layout of the apartment and building is great.

|Recommended: NoGreat location — It is a nice building, sad that during the pandemic they kept increasing rent which is a downfall. I would love a parking spot as parking on the street isn't the most reliable but do not want to pay the extra 100 for it. Friendly office and maintenance staff and lovely location of the building. No incentives for staying in the building, ie. free parking for a couple of months, discount on rent or no increase. For the size of the apartment its not really comparable anymore.

|Recommended: YesAffordable and overall comfortable place to live close-in PDX — Great place to live if you’re looking for a studio place and don’t want to worry about parking. Everyone was friendly, and the neighborhood was awesome. My biggest complaint was the neighbors across from our building who I could hear every word from their patio at every hour of the night even with my windows closed. Above and below neighbors were also very easy to hear and sound from the parking garage carried too, but that was to be expected and can’t complain too much about that. Parking was also pretty rough and only got worse as bars began to re-open
